PREMIUM Workshop: Preparing for Job Interviews

  • You have been invited to a job interview, congratulations! But now the real challenge begins: how do you make a confident, authentic, and memorable impression?

    In this hands-on workshop, career coach Mariana Batista will help you prepare for job interviews with clarity and confidence. You will explore how to present yourself professionally, how to handle tough questions, and how to showcase not just your qualifications but also your fit for the team and organisation.

    By the end of the session, you will know:

    • What employers are really assessing in an interview, beyond your CV;
    • How to research and prepare effectively for any interview format;
    • How to use body language, storytelling, and presence to stand out;
    • How to turn challenging or unexpected questions into opportunities.

    Please note that this workshop is one of the electives PREMIUM offers. Attend a minimum of 3 of the elective workshops.

  • Mariana Batista

    Your Workshop Host: Mariana Batista (key2advance)

    Mariana Batista is a professional with a background in project development and programme management in the humanitarian, non-profit and government sectors.
    She currently works as an Education & Skills Manager at WindEurope and has previously led the Capacity-Building Programme of the Green European Foundation (GEF), overseeing a work programme, which promotes education and training and provides opportunities for building capacity amongst Green actors across Europe. GEF is a European level political foundation, funded by the European Parliament that contributes to the development of a European public sphere and works to create a common Green vision for Europe. Prior to her work at GEF, Mariana led an Internship programme at SB Overseas, a non-profit organisation based in Belgium dedicated to providing non formal education to refugees and victims of conflict in Lebanon. Mariana is a BSIS alumni who graduated with a Master of Arts in International Conflict and Security with a Specialisation in International Migration in 2019. Previous to her Brussels-based worked, Mariana worked in Toronto for a number of governmental institutions, including the Ontario Ministry of Government and the Council of Ministries of Education.
